Electric power distribution cable: low-voltage
1/0.6 kV
Brugg Kabel AG
Cable structure:
- Copper wire sheath type GKN (Ceander cable)
- The conductors of the Ceander cables are made of copper or aluminum. Single-core round conductors are generally used up to 10 mm2 and multi-core round conductors above 16 mm2. Single-core sector-shaped aluminum conductors are also used for larger cross-sections 150 + 240 mm2. The conductor insulation is made primarily of cross-linked EPR.
- The concentric outer conductor (PEN conductor), which is applied in the form of a sinusoidal line, protects people. The electrical cross-connection is ensured by means of a copper strip. Corrosion protection is provided by a halogen-free, black outer sheath with two lengthwise yellow stripes.
