The Sensor Technology division plans, develops, sells and installs fiber optic sensing cables and complete system solutions, known by the international abbreviation DST (distributed temperature sensing), and uses the temperature dependence of specific optical properties of fiber optic conductors to measure the temperature along a fiber optic cable.
