The Tracer IV-GEO provides the ultimate in performance for handheld XRF. This analyzer includes a 30 mm2 XFLASH™ Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) which is the largest detector in any commercially available handheld analyzer. This detector along with the close optical coupling of the analyzer will provide about three times the count rate available from the typical SDD based systems available today. Combine this with the optional patented NASA vacuum technology to achieve the best sensitivity available across the elemental range.
