The semi-automatic Buhler five-roll refiner has been designed for monolines or product recipe types with similar plasticity and fineness properties. It thus allows a broad range of chocolate, filling, and coating masses to be refined to 10 to 60 microns. Thanks to the stable intake gap and the floating rolls, this five-roll refiner allows size reduction with a very narrow particle size distribution and simultaneous homogenizing and flavoring of the product. The Finer G™ is available with three roll lengths: 1300, 1800, and 2500 mm.
Consistent, reproducible fineness-to-throughput characteristic.
The high-precision, reproducible intake gap is a precondition for achieving a high end product quality. Thanks to the floating rolls and the neat removal of the product film by scraping it off the fifth roll, the product is optimally transferred. This ensures a maximum throughput rate as high as 4.2 t/h for a given product fineness.
