The tandem model spring-mechanical transfer bridge is used to bridge over great differences in height (i.e. when the vehicle is significantly higher than the existing ramp). It consists of a transfer bridge with spring equalisation and a transfer bridge divided in the middle without spring equalisation. It is used depending upon the application by tilting part 1 of the transfer bridge onto the ramp and tilting part 2 onto the vehicle. In the resting position, the tandem transfer bridge is automatically secured.
