Can-Eng Rotary Screw Hearth steel bar heat treatment systems have fully integrated hardening, quenching and tempering for high volume and continuous production up to 140,000 lbs/hr (~65 metric tons/hr).

Can-Eng's unique spray quenching technology maintains bar straightness and provides for extremely uniform metallurgical and mechanical properties Post heat treatment straightening is eliminated making possible "stress free" bar production meeting commercial quality straightness of .125" in 5' (3 mm per 1.5 m)
