Tecnos has invested a lot of research in GMT technology and is presenting a heating production system with effective innovative features:

- infrared-hot air combined heating
- GMT scrap recycling
- process parameters control.
The Cannon Group is the only supplier in the worldwide market able to supply a complete production line for GMT as an integrated package from one source (including besides the heating oven, also the automation, the press and the process control).
Oven for uniform heating
An original solution has been chosen using a combined heating system: infrared elements and forced air circulation.
The combination of both systems eliminate the well-known problems due to infrared heating alone-overheating of the edges of the sheets and non homogeneous temperature inside the sheets.
Heating system: infrared/hot air
The GMT Cannon Ovens are equipped with Cannon MVL heating elements emitting in the middle IR wavelenght spectrum.
The main features of the Cannon MVL heaters are the reducers power consumption, the very long life and the uniform heating.
The installed power and the absorbed power are significantly reduced in comparison to all other electrical heating systems.
Better temperature control
The oven is equipped with a temperature control system detecting the temperature of the oven, of the hot air and of the GMT blanks.
GMT scrap recycling
The GMT scrap coming from the end of the line can be easily recycled. It can be introduced into the oven by the automatic feeder and heated at the same time as the virgin GMT sheets.
