The model CMV60 works by means of two NC independent and longitudinal-opposed units and it uses also a carriage with hydraulic controlled movement for facing ends of bars, moulds and forges. This model allows a production flexibility thanks to the availability of an integrated loading/unloading device and of a Control Panel conceived for an easy and friendly programming The standard version of CMV60 is equipped with two opposed units, each one of them uses a coaxial spindle with mounted a ø 100 mm milling cutter. The vertical movement of the carriage executes facing by milling; the other operations, like centering, drilling, chamfering and neck turning are obtained by using the internal spindle tool holders. Tapping is executed by means of an independent NC unit. Hydraulically clamped self-centering and independent jaws are mounted on the vertical carriage which is hydraulically actuated and controlled by means of the NC unit. The machine is provided with a full metal sheet enclosure guarding and with sliding doors equipped with emergency micro switch.
