Facing and centering machine
max. ø 60 mm | CL32
CAORLE
The model CL32 executes the machining in only one axial phase (Z) and it is mainly used for facing and chamfering operations on the extremities of tubes.
The standard version of CL32 is equipped with two opposed units, each one of them uses an ISO40 spindle unit equipped with hydraulic unclamping device. Each spindle is mounted on an independent cast iron saddle which is moved above integral hardened steel guideways by means of precision ballscrews and Brushless motors .
The bed is manufactured of a thick section heavy duty steel plate, electro-welded and normalized, and above it are fixed the two guideways. The steel bed has been expressively designed with internal evacuation chutes in order to convey the chips towards the integrated conveyor.
Self-centering jaws are mounted on the same guideways where the saddles are moved, they allow the clamping of workpieces on the required position. The longitudinal positioning of the jaws is obtained thanks to the hooking to the working units and to the displacement in manual mode.
