Most popular among the line of non-contact capacitive sensors is Capacitecs HPC Cylindrical probes. The cause of its popularity is because it is very easy to install. These sensors are used to measure a target grounded on earth. An outer covering is provided for the sensor and guard elements to prevent it from short circuiting the electronics.
