Leveraging the know-how of its Ferraz Shawmut subsidiary, the Group is currently developing a whole range of solutions: fuses and fuseholders geared to the specific features of each type of low- or medium-voltage installation, switches for cutting off very high power, coolers for achieving better yields from power semiconductors, fault indicators for medium-voltage distribution lines, and third rail current collectors for mass transit systems.

They immediately cut off the power supply as soon as the current flowing in the electrical installation gets too high.

They are safe because they limit, in absolute terms, the energy dissipated when the fault occurs, thereby providing effective protection for installations and operators alike.

They do not age and thus do not require any maintenance.
