Cleaning centrifuge
300 - 500 l/h, 2 000 - 3 500 rpm | RZ series
Carl Padberg Zentrifugenbau GmbH
When decentrally deployed, the CEPA ® cleaning centrifuge can be set up directly at the production machine. The liquid to be cleaned is supplied by a connection in the centre of the cover and reaches the bottom of the application vessel through a conducting cone. By accelerating the liquid, the sedimentation movement is immediately initiated for separating all specifically heavy solid impurities such as grinding and turning chips. The cleaned liquid rises upward and is conducted away via a skimming pipe. Due to the high-speed acceleration, the cleaned liquid rises up to 3 metres through the skimming pipe. Feed pumps are generally not necessary, since feeding is facilitated by inclines and the low installation height. The solid material in the application vessel is manually lifted out.
The RZ 400 is specially designed for separating non-emulsified oil from cooling lubricant emulsions or saturated washing fluids. This is a problem, for example, with hydraulically controlled automated machines and processing centres or washing systems. In this case, the two liquid phases are separated and the heavier solid material is collected in the application vessel. The liquid phases are carried out without pressure and have to be collected in a tank. The solid material in the application vessel is manually lifted out.
