Flexphalt TWF is a 40 mil thickness composite membrane consisting of a tough, multi-layer 8-mil polymeric film uniformly coated with 32 mils of rubberized asphalt adhesive. The film on Flexphalt TWF consists of a tightly-woven core of highstrength, bi-axially-oriented, polypropylene filaments extrusion-coated on both sides with polypropylene polymer. This provides a water and vapor-proof layer with high multi-axial strength, unparalleled dimensional stability and excellent resistance to puncture and tear. Flexphalt TWF is provided in rolls of various widths with a release liner that is removed during application. The factory-controlled composition assures a consistent, tough and effective water shield in a variety of applications - especially thru wall flashing in masonry wall construction. Flexphalt TWF installs easily, endures jobsite exposure and provides a long service life.
