The second is for the Type-B inserts, a combination of ground profile and sintered chip-breaker threading inserts. Unlike most other manufacturers' inserts, this combination ensures consistent high quality thread, precise shape and dimensions while ensuring the chip flow. Two different unique styles of chip-breaker were designed to suit the different specific requirements of Internal threads and External threads.

Type-B inserts are offered in one grade, BMA, for general use.


Carmex offers a wide range of threading tool holders for external or internal threads . Also available are carbide shank toolholders.
