A Cat Towed Scraper easily adapts to jobsite conditions. The scraper can be pulled in single or tandem configurations, or top loaded with an excavator. On an intermittent basis, the pull scraper can be push loaded with a bulldozer.
Ideally pulled by Cat Track-Type Tractors and Challenger™ Special Application Tractors, hitches and drawbars are available for a wide variety of tractors.
Cat Towed Scrapers are equipped with:
* Standard heavy-duty, dry-disc brake calipers to ensure effective stopping from safe operating speeds.
* High-strength, abrasion-resistant steel inside the scraper bowl on the floor, walls, apron and ejector face for maximum strength and wear life. The bowl uses a box-section design for superior strength and dent resistance.
* A bolted hitch design to eliminate pin wear. The tongue's robust, straight-line design efficiently transfers maximum power to the scraper blade for outstanding performance.
* Standard radial tires provide maximum flotation and durability.
The TS185 and TS225 pull scrapers offer:
* Industry-exclusive four-wheel, walking-beam suspension that provides a smoother ride, reduced side-to-side sway, and easier finish grading.
* Adjustability of the cutting edge angle from the operator's station. This industry-exclusive feature improves loading in various soil conditions.
