Insulating Gloves FIELD OF USE Personal protection against electrical shocks for live working from 500 to 36000V (class 00 to class 4). These gloves with integrated mechanical properties, avoid the use of overgloves. They ensure a very good protection against electric arc. The use of thin cotton under gloves is recommended for a better comfort and a good hygiene. CARACTERISTICS •Insulating gloves from class 00 (500V) to class 4 (36 000V) •Material : natural rubber •Temperature of use : -25°C to +55°C •Category: RC (Acid, Ozone, Oil and cold ) •Higher resistance to mechanical puncture, abrasion, cutting and tear, following the 60903 “composite” requirements; the gloves with mechanical properties have the symbol “hammer”. •Colour : Bi-colour for class 00 to 4 (external Orange and internal natural) •This shape will ensure good ergonomics and a good sensitivity. •Gloves marking following IEC 60903 •Colour label for each class (see table 1) •Flash code for traceability : direct access to test report •Delivered in individual packaging: this packaging provides UV protection STANDARD •IEC 60903:2002 – EN 60903:2003 •Arc Flash: ASTM F2675 / F2675M : ATPV 12 cal/cm² IEC 61482-1-2 class 2 (Box: 7kA / 30 cm) STORAGE RECOMMENDATION : Gloves should be stored in their container or package. Care should be taken to ensure that gloves are not compressed, folded or stored in proximity to steam pipes, radiators or other sources of artificial heat or exposed to direct sunlight, artificial light or other source of ozone. It is desirable that the ambient temperature be between 10°C and 21°C. Different sizes are available.
