Sandwich panels are made with different kind of honeycomb cores and fibreglass impregnated with epoxy resin, in order to use a lower stone's thickness and to lighten the natural stone, keeping high its mechanical characteristics. Furthermore the stone, marble or mosaic can be glued directly on the sandwich panel without any further treatment of the skins.
