The MPM490 is equipped with a sensing element based around a piezo-resistive differential pressure sensor and features silicon oil filled space between die and two diaphragms, that acts as a pressure transmitter. The sensor die is linked to the amplifier circuit through wires, and employs the semi-conductor's piezo-resistive effect in order to convert differential pressure signal into electric signal. This highly compact and easy to install model features a full stainless steel, laser welded and fully sealed construction according to IP65 standard, isolated diaphragm in 316L stainless steel and temperature and age calibration (for stable performance). Additionally, zero and span can be adjusted from the outside, and the device includes GB3836.4 ExiallCT6 standard, ex-proof certificate, CCs rules of classification of sea-going steel ships (2006), ship-use certificate as well as CE and RoHS certificates.
