CHARACTERISTICS
Rubber element featuring high torsional and radial flexibility, combined with links flexible in axial and angular directions. With high torsional flexibility and especially ideal system adaption by selection of one row or multi-row arrangement and between different degrees of shore hardness. dampens torsional vibrations and shocks and compensates considerable axial, radial and angular misalignments. Additionally provides reliable acoustic decoupling. Effectively ventila-ted and with high allowable energy loss.Available with ring element or with segmented rubber element. Fail-safe device optionally available. Flanges and hubs available in numerous variants.
APPLICATION
The CENTAX-couplings of various types have been in service since 1988, with more than 20 000 couplings performing reliably in ship propulsion, railway, gensets and construction equipment.
