TORSIONALLY STIFF COUPLINGS FOR DIESEL DRIVEN HYDROSTATIC DRIVES
CENTAFLEX-KE is our new, innovative coupling for diesel driven hydrostatic drives with flange mounted pumps. The coupling is torsionally very stiff, but by using flexible rubber bushes it obtains the radial flexibility necessary, because of substantial radial reaction forces caused by radial misalignment due to tolerances in machining, flexing of the crankshaft, wear of the crankshaft bearings, etc.
These couplings have the same flywheel connections as the traditional CENTAFLEX Sizes 8, 16 and 25.
CHARACTERISTICS
Compact, low in weight, robust, safe in operation, long service life and protected by international patent applications
Oil resistant and suitable for temperatures of -40° to +150°C (-40° to +300° F).
High torsional stiffness - allowing operation below critical speed, without resonances, provided it is correctly selected, low radial stiffness
The coupling consists of shock resistant, temperature stabilized special Polyamid
Short mounting length, easy assembly since it can be plugged in axially
The hubs can be modified in form and length as needed
Various series for standardized and non standard SAE flywheels
