Piezoceramic components are the all-important part of electromechanical transducers. They are capable of converting mechanical energy such as pressure or acceleration into electrical energy or, conversely, of turning electrical signals into mechanical movement or oscillation. Piezoceramic components are used in a broad spectrum of applications covering a wide frequency range. In sensors, they enable the conversion of forces, pressures, and accelerations into electrical signals.
