Power distribution network automation system USP series

The Distribution Automation Controllers are USP smart controllers that are in a range that is fixed with the I/O point and a fully functioning RTU where space is at the most premium. The Ethernet and serial interfaces range from 16 different digital outputs, 3 serial communication ports, 8 digital outputs direct to the USP-030. It also offers fault detection that is directional and options for integrated communications. A wide range of industry standards are supported through the Smart Controller with protocols for both Ethernet and serial, which includes the DNp3 and the IEC104/101/103. User defined applications are supported in addition to restoration algorithms, intelligent adaptive automations, and self-healing distribution networks including specific algorithms of other applications. Modules such as radio modems, GPRS, and Ethernet are all supported through the range of integrated communications.
