Product Overview
CG modular distribution center contains all typical basic substation components on the transformer itself. The exception is that of the 34.5 kV primary fusing, which is installed on the overhead primary line tap instead of inside the transformer.
We have introduced this product under joint development with Exelon Energy Delivery. The product is available with a rating up to 9.375 MVA ONAN and a voltage level of 34.4 kV - 200 kV BIL. The unit is further equipped with a de-energized tap changer, 34.5 kV lightning arresters, a 200 kV BIL three-phase operated load-break primary switch with a 600 Amps re-closer mounted and connected inside the LV air compartment. Re-closer controls are mounted outside the cable compartment for better accessibility.
