Product Overview
CG three phase pole mount transformers used extensively in rural distribution networks in Ireland, the UK and many other countries. The simple tank design used, is rectangular in shape with plain sides for the smaller ratings and very low loss types requiring less radiator surface. Corrugated fins are used to provide radiator surface for the larger ratings. The design and construction methods ensure that the mass is kept to a minimum for any given rating and loss level. This means that installation costs and pole loadings are also minimised. The HV outdoor shedded bushings for IEC types are located on the tank cover. LV bushings may also be on the tank cover or alternatively on the tank side. Arcing horns or lightning arresters can be fitted as required.
