Description
The ME1 series Miniature Electromagnetic clutch and brake requires specific measures to be taken during the installation procedure. Firstly, the friction surface must be absolutely free of grease (to allow maximum torque), secondly in order to ensure optimal armature plate operation the air gap must be taken into account and maintained within +/- 20% of specified value. In order to inspect the armature plate, adequate voltage must be provided.
