Chevin Tools has been supplying Mazak toolholders for more than 20 years. A working relationship with Mazak UK, Singapore and the USA has resulted in a reciprocal transfer of knowledge and information.

This has enabled Chevin Tools to become a leading supplier of Mazak tooling around the world. Our range includes holders based on the original Mazak designs and both metric and imperial sizes are available.

Chevin manufactures both static and live toolholders.

The new live toolholders design enables the maximum benefit to be obtained from the machine tool's speed, through coolant and the associated benefits of recent developments in cutting tool technology.

The fully sealed units operate at speeds up to 6,000rpm. Induction hardened gears and high quality bearings and seals ensure smooth and accurate operation with through tool coolant as an option. The new live toolholding complements Chevin Tools existing range of Mazak static toolholding.

Chevin Tools in-house design service allows special units to be developed specifically tailored to customers requirements. Past examples have included special angled heads, offset heads, slot milling and slitting wheel applications.
