SKF roller bearing units offer the designer relative freedom in respect of bearing arrangement design. Some 20 design variants are available. They make for economic bearing arrangements and are primarily intended for applications where the load carrying capacity of Y-bearing units is inadequate or where conditions are particularly difficult. Their advantages include the following:– They are ready-to-mount, i.e. they have the correct clearance, are greased and sealed.
