Flywheel UPS systems are designed for high power, short discharge applications with the ability to charge and discharge at high rates and operate continuously in high cyclic applications without output degradation. Chloride flywheel UPS systems use Vycon flywheels and can give 18 seconds autonomy at 200 kVA.
