CPIC is committed to supplying customers with continuous filament
glass fiber yams of high quality. CPIC yams belong to one of two
categories: single yarns, plied yams. Single yams are produced by
twisting hundreds of glass filaments together. Plied yams are made
by combining two or more single yams in a second twisting step.
Based on their applications, single yams can be further divided into
electrical yams and industrial yams.
The electronic yarns produced by CPIC have the full range of product from diameter D to G. and the industrial yams from BC
to K. The applications of the yams cover tire cord, sleeves, coated materials, mesh fabric, screen doth, air cloth, filter
material, grinding wheel, sports, screens, etc.
Y-YARN: use starch-based sizing . They are designed for PCB-grade glass fabrics with good heat-cleaning capability. With good
weaving property, they can also be used in general industrial applications.
T-YARN:are designed for various industrial applications other than PCB fabrics. They normally possess higher tensile strength
and better alkali resistance property than Y-series do. There are three different types about T-series. One is designed for the
normal weaving process, offer excellent weaving processing capability and high tensile strength. The other one is designed
for the application of reinforced epoxies or polyesters resin. A third type is designed for the special requirement such as alkali
resistance, and is suitable to coating of thermoplastics, such as PVC, alkali resistance application, etc.
