Balancing machine for railways axles

The balancers for railway wheel sets have the following construction characteristics:

* the drives are realised only by means of cardan shafts
* they have a shifted headstock with a special coupling and a mechanism that serves the purpose of automatic coupling with the wheel
* they have a slow loading mechanism of the balanced rotor onto the balancing machine
* they have a great starting torque and the time of start-up and braking is simultaneously lengthened
* low rotary speed is applied during the process of balancing
* the results of balancing are given either in the values of masses or additionally in the form of eccentrics for adjusting the turning lathe on eccentric turning.
