The DS250VG is also designed to withstand 25kA (10/350us) which is similar to a direct lightning strike. It is based on specific heavy duty GDT and MOV hybrid design : this technology allows the best behaviour possible on AC (no follow current and no leakage current) and a very low residual voltage less than 600V.
