Clark Solutions presents DS07 flow meter and flow switch. This model operates on the modified variable area mechanism. A spring guides the float in a cylindrical measuring glass. The float is moved in the flow direction by the flowing medium. On the measuring glass, the momentary flow is displayed on the upper edge of the float through a burnt-in scale.

Outside the meter, a reed contact is fixed in a sealed enclosure. The switch closes upon the float reaching the reed contact position. With greater flows, the float goes further above. It stops upon reaching an integrated float stop, while the switch is still closed. Due to this, a bistable switch function is provided at all times. The reed contact can be adjusted over the meter's entire measuring range.
