Exhaust gas boiler system for cogeneration plant

Clayton offers a full line of heat recovery systems for marine, industrial, and power plant applications (co-generation). Our products are in operation around the world, recovering heat from engines, turbines, ovens, and furnaces. The heat input can be as low as 250 °C (482 °F) or as high as 1,200 °C (2,292 °F) Co-generation is the most popular use for the Clayton Heat Recovery/Exhaust Gas Steam Generator. These systems are operating on the world’s finest reciprocating engines, burning bio- and natural gas, diesel and heavy fuel oil. The heat recovered can be used solely for the engine plant, in the case of heavy oil fired engines, or can be employed for a factory’s process and production needs. Clayton provides units in a variety of steam/water flow configurations. The primary systems are: The E-System that provides efficient heat transfer with a simple once through design The R-System that is designed to eliminate concern about dew point corrosion (with heavy fuel oil) The Lamont System that provides a split flow design for larger capacities The Combi-System that is designed to incorporate an exhaust gas boiler and fired steam generator sharing a common steam drum.
