Super heated steam generator
max. 650 °F (343 °C)
CLAYTON INDUSTRIES
Units can be provided in a configuration that allows the user the option of providing saturated or superheated steam. Superheated steam can be provided at pressures up to 850 psig (57 bar) and at temperatures up to 650°F (343°C).
These units are able to provide superheated steam in a variety of applications for industrial needs as auxiliary boilers in power plants, and wherever superheated steam is required.
Since Superheated Steam Generators are essentially the same as saturated steam units with the addition of extra heating sections, they provide the same advantages. Some benefits of using them as power plant auxiliary boilers include:
Rapid start—from a cold state to full output in 20 minutes
Fast response to load swings
Compact design
High degree of operator safety—non-explosive design
Low maintenance—single burner
