These belts are used for transporting materials containing oily and greasy products such as:
- vegetable or animal fats found in the food industry, sugar plants, harbours or in the production of food for livestock.
- mineral oils found in the steel, glass and recycling industries and any other industry which involves the use of oil lubricants.
- chemical products such as fuel oil for example, which may damage the belt covers, like in the fertiliser industry or in the transport of coal in power plants.
