Cogelme Magnetic Drum's advantage and versatility lies in capacity to catch both: big and very small ferrous metal pieces, even slightly magnetic. Magnetic drum can be applied for ferrous metal separation from Municipal Waste, Wood, Incinerator Ash, E-Waste, Plastics and other materials recycling applications.
Performance way.
Material falling onto rotating magnetic drum has to be well distributed with some feeding system. All magnetic pieces are attracted to the drum, are carried and downloaded beyond the magnetic field. Inert materials freely fall down according their trajectory before this point.
Magnetic drum can be used in a combination with Overband Magnetic Separator when material depth is high on the conveyor. This combination assures a higher separation purity.
Apart of standard models, Cogelme Magnetic Drums can be produced also according special requests.
