Cogne Acciai Speciali makes stainless steel bars for all the application, from high speed cutting steel to high corrosive environment. The cold worked bars covers the range between 3 and 450 mm, up to 60mm also hexagons. The cold working can increase the mechanical properties, improve the geometrical parameters like straightness, roundness, roughness, with a reduction of the surface defects, also due to the non destructive controls that complete the production cycle. We can make standard surface finishing as explained on technical sheet and also special surface finishing in collaboration with our subsidiary Novacciai S.r.l.. Concerning the properties of our steels, we produce standard grades for cold and hot forming, and special grades for improving the machinability (IMCO ®), for improving the corrosion and firecoat resistance (special grades).
