SMC CAM SLIDE
Cam slide belongs to the group of “Linear cam handling system” applied for realizations of automations and motion in different industrial fields, in particular when repetitive, quick and precise movements are required.
These systems transform a rotary constant motion of the cam in a linear motion of the carriage, whose characteristics concerning acceleration, deceleration and speed are determined by cam profile. They can be used in the machine tool field as complementary units to handle the tool changer in order to free the machining area.
Cam slide type SMC are produced in 4 standard sizes : SMC 80, SMC 100, SMC 120, SMC 160; we also produce special slides, according to the customer’s request.

Hardened slide ways with balls or roller re-cycle pads
Steel carriage
Polyurethane protection bellows
Alloy steel cam with induction hardened track.
Feeler roller with ‘long-life’ lubrication
Radial and radio-axial roller bearing with ‘long- life’ lubrication.
Worm reduction unit or square axis with torque limiter.
