Cam slide belong to the sector of "Cam linear handling system" applied to the automations in many industrial fields, automotive, food, chemical and packaging industry.

These systems transform a uniform rotary motion, created by a self-braking or an asynchronous three phase gear motor, in a linear motion of the carriage whose characteristics of acceleration, deceleration and speed are determined by the cam profile.

Cam slides type SMC are produced in four standard sizes.

In case of special requests it is possible to produce actuators with different sizes or carriages with special dimensions.

STRUCTURE CHARACTERISTICS

Electro welded steel structure.

Hardened guides with recirculating balls or rollers (depends on size).

Steel carriage.

Polyurethane protective bellows.

Alloy steel cam with induction hardened track.

Cam follower with "long-life" lubrication.

Radial and radio-axial bearings with "long-life" lubrication.

Worm gear motor or with orthogonal axis with torque limiter.
