VELOMAT 500 SYNCHRO is the new rotary base assembly system manufactured by VELOMAT. Consisting of mechanical controlled manipulators and an indexing rotary table. The base system is characterised by a single motor, operating both indexing table and manipulators in an absolutely synchronised motion. The pick and place motion of the manipulators is obtained by the synchronised motion of two reciprocating plates that are controlled by a Colombo Filippetti cam mechanism. Thanks to mechanical synchronised motion and to the small masses moved, the base system VELOMAT 500 SYNCHRO is able to offer many features such as: precision, high speed, low vibration, quiet motion, and absolute repeatability of movement. VELOMAT 500 SYNCHRO is the solution to assembling that requires precision, reliability, low costs and high production rates.
