Active loop antenna

The AL-130 Active Loop antenna is used magnetic field EMI emissions testing. It has a built in preamplifier which helps the antenna produce good sensitivity and almost constant antenna factors. The saturation indicator is activated when an incoming signal exceeds saturation limit of the internal preamplifier. Power for the preamplifier is supplied by rechargeable NimH batteries.

Every loop antenna is individually calibrated in accordance with the IEEE-291 Section 2.3.1 methods, using NIST traceable equipment.
