- contactor deterioration
- further stress on the capacitors
- disturbance in the electrical networks
Besides, it has difficulties in responding to fast load variations. As

manufactured AUTOMATIC STATIC P.F. EQUIPMENT where each
bank of capacitors is activated by zero-crossing devices. This system
is suitable if silent equipment is mandatory
