Food production line: cake
900 - 1 800 p/h | LTH series COMAS SPA

For cake production COMAS SpA has designed the LTH model.
These cakes are made by depositing and tamping the several cream layers.
The equipment of the single elements on the line are interchangeable thus forming products of different sizes and features.
The main advantages of the LTH lines are the following:
- Rapidity in product change-over thanks to the new conveyor with adjustable belts.
- High accuracy in positioning the products under the depositing units.
- Mechanical and electrical parts resistant to direct water jet washing.
- Volumetric depositors easy to disassemble and optional C.I.P. version.
- Maximum output rate: 1800 pieces/hr.

All built with the quality and reliability standards for which COMAS is known throughout the world.

The above photograph illustrates a LTH-400 line for one-row production of round cakes in plastic moulds.
This line is made up of:
- Intermittent conveyor with adjustable belts.
- Syrup depositing unit.
- Volumetric depositor model DN for cream and/or jam.
- Tamping unit for the second sponge base.
- Syrup depositing unit.
- Volumetric depositor model DN for cream.
- Top cake side smoothing.
Maximum output rate: 900 pieces/hr.
