Centrifugal classifier mill
Fine grinding is always the largest cost unit when developing various materials. This is due to the amount of energy consumed in the process. More effective comminution processes are desired.
The dry ball mill grinding is still universally utilized, but other processes are always wanted as the alternatives are thought to be more cost efficient. Development of classification and optimization of dry grinding circuits have demonstrated substantial gains in capacity and energy demands, making the dry ball mill grinding unit suitable even for grinding down to 98% - 8 µm.
The air swept mills are suitable for fine grinding, as they can offer preliminary classification inside the mill. They have 25% more capacity than grate discharge mills.
