Intermittent logic automatic clipping machines are ideal for assembly on vertical or horizontal packaging lines. They are very simple to operate: an intermittent belt collects the bag and accompanies it as far as the seal header, where an aluminium or plastic CLIPBAND seal or a TWISTBAND seal is applied. The same intermittent belt then carries the sealed bag to the output zone.

There are two main models of intermittent logic clipping machines, both electro-pneumatic types: the SA 50 PP SUPER model applies a plastic/aluminium clipband whilst the SA TWIST model applies a twistband with a metal wire inside.

The intermittent logic clipping machine set-up can be customised, according to the type of packaging machine and built to interface perfectly with the main machine.

If producers do not require bag sealing on the line on which a clipping machine is installed, the clipping function can simply be excluded, without having to move the machine: the bag will simply be conveyed to the intermittent logic belt which, in this case, acts as a conveyor belt.
