Injection Moulded Magnet
Plastomag is a line of products realized by Injection Molding of plastic and magnetic components.
The magnetic components are Ferrite's Powders or Neodymium's Powders and they can reach Magnetic High Qualities up to 6000 Gs of Residual Induction (BR )and up to 11500 Oe of Coercive Force (HcJ)
These materials used in injected magnets are often Polyamides (PA6-PA11-PA12).
They allow to reach very high temperatures, 100ºC for PA12, and about 120ºC for PA6. For working temperatures of 200ºC, is utilized Polyphenol, which fits for high temperatures.
For magnets injected with rare earths, epoxy resins are used; they can bear until 120ºC.
These type of magnets have a stronger resistance against corrosion than sintered materials, therefore, they can be used in most of the applications without special coatings.
One of the major advantages of plastic magnets is the moulding variety that the injecting process offers. This is why the fittings with plastics, shafts, sockets, pivots, dented wheels and other functional elements can be carried out.
