Multi-hole ceramic sealing gland
MHC
Conax Technologies
The Conax Multi-Hole Ceramic (MHC) compression fitting is a reusable steel fitting designed for pressure or vacuum sealing of insulated multiple tubes or probes. This compression fitting is often used to seal multiple thermocouple, RTD or thermistor probes, tube bundles, liquid level sensors or a variety of devices in a single fitting. The MHC compression fitting features the Conax-designed "soft sealant" technology that uses the compression of a material within a fixed housing to develop a strong seal. The gland is easily assembled and the immersion length adjusted in the field. For use in pressures from vacuum to 10,000 psi (690 bar) and temperature range from -400º F to +1600º F (-240º C to +870º C). Available with neoprene, viton, Teflon, lava or grafoil sealant. Seals 1 to 16 elements.
