Due to its powerful and energy-efficient Intel Atom CPU, is the 716 optimally appropriate for any telematic requirements, and that for a very attractive price.
In addition to an e13 certification, the system has ignition-controlled power on/off and delay time control system. Boot and shutdown procedures can be scaled by means of power management software, which can also query the ignition state and power consumption. Optionally, a GPS/GPRS module, Bluetooth and WLAN can be added using the two mini PCIe slots. Moreover three serial ports can be added, and one port can be switched over to RS-485 mode. Three USB 2.0 connections, one LAN connection, an internal SIM card and compact flash socket, GPIO with four input and four output channels, an installed 2.5” hard disk option and a DVI socket make this a complete package.
The flexible, screw-on/screw-off power supply terminal with a range of 9 –36 VDC is one more special feature.
