Condat D46
CONDAT D 46 is a water free, synthetic fluid formulated from an organic ester base. It can be used in underground workings, the steel industry, the metal industry, in forges and foundries as well as in the Aluminium industry where an hydraulic installation works in closed premises at high temperatures.
CONDAT D 46 reduces the hazards presented by a mineral oil when, for example, a pipe breaks near a flame or a smelting piece, oil is sprayed out due to leaks, or any other incident which can occur on hydraulic systems near molten alloys.
Thanks to a self-ignition temperature >450°C, "CONDAT D 46" will not burn spontaneously at a lower temperature. CONDAT D46 prevents fire propagation and is self-extinguishing. It is certified FM APPROVED.
In addition to high fire resistance, it will give the necessary excellent lubricating characteristics such as:
* Exceptional anti wear properties,
* A very high shear resistant VI giving the correct viscosity over a large temperature range,
* Good thermal stability,
* Excellent antifoaming and de-aeration properties,
* Good filterability.
* A low pour point.
Use of CONDAT D46 helps to prolong the life of the hydraulic components and offers a long service life.
Biodegradable and non toxic (classified WGK 1 by Hygiene Institute according to the latest standards), CONDAT D 46 is environmentally friendly.
