High temperatures grease
Pyratex EP 0-1-2
PYRATEX EP is used in high temperature environments. It is resistant to solvents, acids and radiation. Mechanical industries, chemical industries, nuclear industries, aeronautics and aerospace industries are sectors where the use of PYRATEX EP brings a great increase in the life time of materials.
Based on a totally synthetic base oil of the PerFluroPolyether type and an organic thickening agent, PYRATEX EP has the following properties:
- Non flammable oil base with very high VI and viscosity ensure excellent lubricating properties
- Excellent resistance to oxidation resulting in great stability during prolonged use at temperatures of 300°C,
- Minimal evaporation at high temperatures without ash formation,
- Good resistance to solvents, radiation and oxygen either liquid or gaseous,
- Excellent lubrication at high temperatures partly due to the viscosity of the base oil,
- Highly compatible with metals, plastics, elastomers and rubbers,
- Excellent dielectric rigidity.
Without a dropping point, PYRATEX EP can be to lubricate mechanical parts working at temperatures in the range of 280/300°C or for life long lubrication at 100 to 180°C.
The use of PYRATEX EP reduces maintenance man hours and machine down-time, thus increasing productivity.
